<B>Large Scrapbook of Early Aviators Photographs.</B></I> Housed in clear plastic sleeves in a 13" x 15" black archival album. Approximately 30 black and white photos of various sizes, with most depicting the famous personalities of early aviation. Pioneers such as Elsie Tubbe, Ernie Smith, Lawrence Sperry, Phoebe Omlie, Glenn Martin, Mrs. Sun Yat-sen, Apollo Soucek, Randolph Page, Earl Ortman, and the aptly named Walter Upward. Contains many photos of women pilots. Most photos display a press stamp or other identifying information on the reverse. Some photos are displayed with the archival text pasted below the photo. Overall, the photos are in very good condition, with some slightly creased.
