A finely made Chinese cloisonné enamel bowl in the Qing dynasty style, featuring a rare lavender enamel ground intricately decorated with lotus scrolls and the Eight Buddhist Treasures (Ba Bao): the conch, dharma wheel, parasol, canopy, vase, twin fish, endless knot, and lotus flower. The rim is finished with a gilt key-fret border, and the base is mounted with a heavy gilt-bronze foot ring. This piece reflects the imperial aesthetic of the late Qing period and is ideal for collectors of Asian cloisonné, Buddhist motifs, or decorative enamel wares.
