<td width="100%">
A huge and quite attractive terracotta seated female from the Jalisco culture of West Mexico. Dating between 300 B.C. and 100 A.D., this fine femme fatale looks like she is ready for a night of dancing on the town. Covered in deep brown slip and arms positioned as if she were doing the Latin Macarena, with short legs covered with a skirt, hair up under her turban and wearing the very fashionable earspools. 18"H x 14-1/4"W x 8-1/2"D, appears choice but has one arm almost invisibly reattached and possible repair to her back. Ex-private Santa Fe, NM Collection.
