Large McCorm Marked Flintlock Blunderbuss
Produced without sights, with a 1 3/4" wide brass reinforcement band around the muzzle and stock tip and a set of faint proofs on the left side near the breech. The lock appears to be marked "McCORM" between the hammer and frizzen spring which butts up to the marking (could this be for McCormick with the "ICK" cut off?). Full length stock, with a brass reverse plate, trigger guard and buttplate. Three oval inset proofs are present at breech.

Condition: Good, with a thick, dark patina on the brass and pitting on the lock. The frizzen has been refaced. Stock is broken in the lock area, with cracking, chips and scuffs. Lockplate is slightly loose, but functions.
