Han period, with finest Kelly-Green Glaze that is only disturbed along the base from immersion in tomb water. The thick, horizontally everted rim has two oblong holes for the suspension cords, and a couple of small chips to the surface….otherwise the Jar is essentially perfect. A water or wine storage jar it also has nice linear lines around the outer body. With the finest color and glaze retained, it is a premium example of this type of stoneware.
