<B>LARGE CHINESE FLUORITE GROUP</B></I><BR> <I>Wushan Fluorite Mine, De'an, Jiujiang Prefecture, Jiangxi Province, People's Republic of China</B></I><BR>Sharp blue-green octahedrons with velvet luster comprise most of this large fluorite plate. A number of white quartz matrix areas peek through 'windows' between the crystals providing definition and contrast to the overlying fluorites. When illuminated from the rear the velvety diamonds glow in shades of aqua-blue and purple. The individual crystals range in size up to 1 3/8 inches on edge while the overall dimensions are 18 x 13 inches.
