Large footed jar with Jaguar and plumed serpents motif. Ceremonial and musical with three crude 1/2” holes in the bottom section for sand or dirt for affect when shaken for ceremonial rites, very nice motif. An exceptionally rare jar with original firing mark made when when heated in earthen ovens, 10 5/8 x 6 ¼, excellent condition, 1000-1450AD
