Large Baroque Secretary Commode, Presumably part of a vestry or monastery piece of furniture, walnut veneered spruce carcase, with marquetry panels in maple and plum, stained, side panel construction with drawer on rollers with ribbon marquetry and a frieze drawer, the upper section with writing slope, two side drawers and two inner drawers, 103 x 196 x 97 cm, parts replaced and veneer replaced in parts in the course of restoration, Austria circa 1740, restored condition, the corresponding upper section missing.
