Wool, Brigadier General Alfred Howe Terry, Judge Advocate General Joseph Holt, Major General David Bell Birney, Acting Inspector General Romeyn B. Ayres, Major General John Pope, Brigadier General Martin D. Hardin, Major General Henry W. Slocum, and generals Alvin P. Hovey, Adolphus Greely, Andrew H. Humphreys, Adelbert Ames, James Blair Steedman, John Garland, John W. Geary, Alexander Dyer, Edward Ord, James Barnet Fry, and military men Eugene Asa Carr, Thomas H. Barry and four unidentified signatures of the period. All signatures have been clipped from letters or documents and are in an average very good condition.
