Included in this lot we have a large antique two man crosscut lumber saw originating from the late 19th and early 20th century. The saw was manufactured by Simonds Saw and Steel Co. and shows large metal teeth with the original wooden handles. The blade is marked "Warrented The Simonds Saw Est- 1832 - Simonds saw and steel co. U.S.A. Radial crescent steel mill- Lockport, New York. Fitchburg, Mass. Chicago, Ill Royal Chinoo No. 513 - Made of Simonds Steel". The handles are made of wood with the original metal fittings. The saw shows good condition overall with some wear and rust. The saw measures 74" long by 5 1/4" wide.
