Beautiful, large iridescent glass vase in a teal/blue color and classical shape. Unmarked except for an X on the center of the base. Date and place of manufacture unknown. Glass from the Roman times became naturally iridescent from being buried in damp earth for long periods of time. Luxury glass manufacturers Tiffany, Loetz and Steuben developed their own iridescent glass in the late 1800's, around the Art Nouveau period. In good used condition with minor loss on base rim (see photos). Please ask questions, request additional photos and shipping costs before buying.
