The tabletop of this elegant Kang table has been made in the late Qing Dynasty in China. The table top is covered with laque burgauté that is adorned with mother of pearl inlays. It shows an all round graphic décor made from thin mother of pearl rods and larger inlays made from mother of pearl. These show a bouquet of flowers and a vase, a flying ornament and a tea pot as well as a cup. The apron as well shows elaborate inlays that are interrupted by the addition of the secondary subpart (i. e. legs).

This fine Kang table is in good condition and shows only minimal traces of use and age, such as material losses in the lacquer layer or the inlays. Clearly visible traces of use can be seen around the legs and the corners. Bits of the mother of pearl inlays are missing. The dimensions of the table measure 106.5 cm broad; 36.5 cm high; 76 cm deep. The subpart and the legs are new. Shipping costs excl. statutory VAT and plus 2,5% (+VAT) shipping insurance.
