This rouge compact is from Langlois of Los Angeles. It is circa 1920s-1930s. Its case is made of gold metal with an embossed flower and ray design.

The rouge pot measures 1 5/8 inches in diameter. The compact has a hinged lid with a mirror. It still contains rouge!

The label on the back of the compact reads " CARA NOM" and "Langlois, Los Angeles" in successive lines. "CARA NOM" may well be the name of the rouge shade.

This is in great condition for its age! This rouge compact will make a fabulous addition to a vintage compact collection!
