Langenhan FL Selbstlader Self-Loading Semi-Automatic Pistol, #7658, .32 ACP cal., 4" barrel, blue finish, checkered hard rubber two-piece grips with "FL" monogram, blade front and fixed "V"-notch rear sight, with one unmarked 8-round blue steel magazine. Factory markings are clear, with "(crown)/N" proofs on left side of the slide and frame, with an additional "(crown)/R" . There are no visible import marks. Mfgd circa 1914-1917. Pistol is in near fine overall condition, retaining approx. 80%-85% thinning blue finish, with holster wear at the muzzle, showing even edgewear and some areas of slight surface erosion, worse at the muzzle. Grips are very good with smoothing of the checkering and a couple minor indentations. Action functions well and locks up securely. Bore is very good, with scattered light frosting, and well-defined rifling. The Langenhan was a simple blowback pistol modeled after the FN 1900, produced for only three years, with approx 55,000 pistols produced for use by the German military and police during WWI. Est.: $700-$900. (C&R/PPT)
