Artiste Langdonart said: "Tempest and Peace" is the preferred title I give to this innovative study I created since I was doing 'artistic innovation' instead of in my art studio it was "en plein air' yes outdoors while the trees standing or falling were causing my attention like an Easter movie dominating scene as I saw crosses among the branches or trees crossed, and therefore "Tempest is followed by Peace" which dominates the scene; such lines are much varied as the trees, bushes, waters... are like posts as the tempest was strong they bended, and as water is a symbol is the 'Spirit', I saw even things that become like a cross, which could become a symbol in my painting on canvas !
You see Nature has trees which are like posts important to note things such as important cultural symbols and rivers for spirituality, and also our souls, to rise after difficulties, such as the Cross is a symbol for Humanity as Hope for Freedom such as Easter is capital for Joy ! My painting is a study, or an esquisse, quickly done with my brushes because the rain was adamant and stressed me to see quickly that Life is worth living!"
