<B>Land Patent for Oakland County, Michigan Territory, 1833</B></I> Partly printed document, 16" x 9.75", on vellum (framed), Washington, September 4, 1833. Signed "Andrew Jackson" in another hand. The patent was issued under the provisions of the Land Act of 1820, instrumental in ushering in a new age of Western influence.
