Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway signalbox wood-cased Tyers sloping-front permissive block instrument, from the Dearne Valley Railway. It bears ivorine labels "Grimethorpe South" and "Dn-Line". Unrestored. (See Lot 138). Note The Dearne Valley Railway opened in 1909 to operate a line from Hemsworth to Black Carr. It was worked first by the HBR, then by the LYR until grouping into the LMS in 1923.
