<B>Lady Nancy Astor Typed Letter Signed and Original Envelope</B></I>, on personal letterhead, 7" x 5.5", London, June 17, 1952. In this letter to collector Robert McNiel, Lady Astor (1879-1964), the first woman to be elected to the British Parliament, explains Winston Churchill's refusal to send him an autograph. Signed "<I>Nancy Astor</B></I>" in black ink. Very fine with original center fold.
