<B>La Grande Illusion (R.A.C., R-1946).</B></I> French Petite (23.5" X 31.5"). Almost seventy years after it was made, "La Grande Illusion" remains one of cinema's great achievements. Starring Erich von Stroheim and Jean Gabin, director Jean Renoir focuses on the human relationships that evolved during World War I and shows the universality of humankind, regardless of nationality, religion, or social class. This lovely, post-WWII French poster with art by Bernard Lancy has minor edge wear and some slight fold wear with small cross fold separations. The poster has been mounted on linen, and some touch up has been done. It displays very nicely.
