He is best-known today for the crisply-drawn and modeled still lifes and landscapes, which he painted in his New York City and Vermont studios. In 1925, however, while a Fellow of the Tiffany Foundation, Lucioni adopted a bright impressionistic style of soft brushwork, rich tonalities, and careful attention to the play of light. While living a t Laurelton Hall, the home on Long Island which Louis Comfort Tiffany had designed for himself, Lucioni painted what is probably the only extant view of Tiffany's crystal fountain and loggia. The fountain and the house have long since been destroyed, although a few of the ornate mosaic columns from the loggia have preserved at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York.

Shipping: Requires 3rd Party Shipping (view shipping information)
