Seven items, the first HERBERT KAISER, ace with 68 victories. S.P. 3 1/2" x 4 1/2" b/w, shows him in uniform and signed with fair contrast in blue ink. With a T.L.S. from 1981 referring to Robert Grinsell's book Aces Full which discusses his military career; ANTON HACKL, D.S. 1p. 4to., his military career on onionskin paper outlining his 192 confirmed victories, the dates he was awarded his decorations, among them the KC with Oak Leaves, etc. Boldly signed at bottom, with original transmittal envelope; HERMANN GREINER, Night Fighter with 51 victories. S.P. 4" x 6" b/w signed: "Hermann Greiner, Hptm. St. Troud. Belgium Sommer 1944", with an A.L.S. from 1973, in German mentioning: "...at that time, Summer 1944...as a captain, I led the Night Fighter Squadron, Group IV..."; and JOSEF KRAFT, 56 victories, awarded KC with Oak Leaves. A.L.S. in English, 2pp. legal folio, Dec. 14, 1898, discussing his most interesting combat victories including "an encounter with a gallant pilot of the RAF...", and a lengthy, vivid account with flight-technology details. Along with a FDC cancelled Memphis, Oct. 11, 1981, boldly signed. Seven items.
