Marcel Martel born in Drummondville, Québec, Canada, February 1st 1922, and died April 13 1999, 74 years old ; was an author composing and interpreating country western quebec songs, 1940 to 1980. Modest milieu, Marcel Martel commenced at age of 12 ans his musical career playing violin with his father ; and, he is considered one of the pioneers of music country in Quebec. Married Noëlla Therrien, Marcel Martel had 2 children, one is the chanteuse Renée Martel.
