Modest milieu, Marcel Martel commenced at age of 12 ans his musical career playing violin with his father ; and, he is considered one of the pioneers of music country in Quebec. Married Noëlla Therrien, Marcel Martel had 2 children, one is the chanteuse Renée Martel.
