This lot consists of the following bayonets: 1) SCARCE REMINGTON 1899 LEE BAYONET. Bayonet for the Remington Lee 1899 rifle with leather scabbard & steel throat. Blade has partially faint Remington Arms marking. CONDITION: blade appears lightly cleaned with some light oxidation. Other metal parts of bayonet are a gray patina with a couple areas of light pitting & oxidation. Wooden handles show some handling wear. Scabbard shows some crazing & flaking. 2) AUSTRIAN 1895 MANNLICHER NCO BAYONET. NCO bayonet with hook on pommel. Blade has Steyr OWG marking on one side & Austrian eagle on the other. Crossguard numbered "44". Hardwood handles. Steel scabbard with green paint that appears to have indiscernible initials & leather frog. CONDITION: blade remains mostly bright with some light oxidation & dried grease. Other metal parts of bayonet are turning gray with scattered oxidation. Wooden grip panels show heavy handling wear with some dings. Scabbard shows overall flaking green paint & some oxidation Scabbard shows scattered crazing, & some flaking.
