Book Description: McClure Co., New York, 1907. Pictorial Cover. Book Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. N. C. Wyeth (illustrator). First Edition. 5” wide 7¾" tall. Copyright date is 1907, green cloth over boards with gold lettering on the spine with a pictorial front. Frontspiece fine with paper covering, color pictures, no tears or bent pages nor any writing. NO JACKET, shelf wear to the edges and to the head and toe of the spine, a small wear spot top right corner of the front cover, light fading to the inside covers from age. Bright, clean text with a tight binding. A solid book.

Large square 4to (12x12"), blue pictorial boards, tips and spine extrems lightly rubbed else Fine. 1st edition of perhaps the most lavish of all illustrated versions of these poems and possibly the first edition of these poems with color illustrations. This edition is illustrated by E.MARS and M.H. SQUIRE with lovely full page color plates and full page black and whites plus a profusion of text illustrations.

This much loved book has a Cover that is well worn, but the drawings are amazing.
