LOT OF NINE HOLSTERS. (1) Lot includes Japanese bamboo holster with pressed leather clamshell, containing spare firing pin and two boxes of 8mm ammo. The cleaning rod is missing. CONDITION: Scratched and battered. (2) Luger holster, brown leather marked “CARL ACKDA” in an arc over “BAD KREUZNACH / 1939” on the rear at the top. The eagle over “WaA286” Waffenampt stamp between the belt loops. CONDTION: Light scratches and scuffs overall. (3) German marked Czech model 27 holster with loaded mouser model 1934 magazine. Dated 1942 on the reverse with “WaA 76” Waffenampt mark. CONDITION: Stained on the magazine pouch and light scratches elsewhere. (4) Tokrev three-flap holster, unmarked. CONDITION: Scuffed and scratched. (5&6) Two two-flap holsters for Browning Model 35 autos, neither marked except for user’s name inside. CONDITION: One is fine; other is scuffed. (7) Brown leather single flap holster for Browning Model 35, marked with illegible Waffenampt stamp. The magazine has the diamond “L” mark at the base but the Waffenampt code is in a rust patch and is illegible. (8) P 38 two-flap magazine marked “dlu” Waffenampt code “WaA615”. CONDITION: Name scratched into top flap. Other scuffs and scratches overall. (9) Very rare U.S. holster for Model 1900 or Model 1902 Colt Semi-auto pistol. There is a large “US” in an oval on the flap and “ROCK ISLAND / ARSENAL / 1908. / T.C.C.” on the belt loop. The number 88 is stamped on the tail of the flap. The shape indicates that this has possibly been used for a Model 1911. The reinforce bar has also been removed. From the Collection of the late Barney Frost. 4-53555-48 FS226 (800-1,200)
