This lot consists of the following Columbian Mauser rifles both in Cal. 30-06: 1) S# 4186. Bbl. 17 1/2". FN 1950 Carbine Barreled Action. Blade front sight. No rear sight assembly present. Receiver drilled & tapped for aperture sight. Bbl. & receiver have matching numbers. Bbl. is loose & will require tightening. Turned down bolt assembly present that is marked with a Farsi number. Also present are a CZ marked trigger, mag assembly, trigger guard, bolt release & both action screws. CONDITION: metal shows scattered thinning to gray & light oxidation. Safety requires extra force to engage but action is otherwise functional when hand cycled. Good bore with some frosting & light pitting but strong rifling. (25-2567/MJC). 2) S# P05842. Bbl. 23 1/2". Aftermarket tall blade front sight. Tangent rear sight graduated to 2000m. Receiver is drilled & tapped for both aperture sight & optical sights . Mismatched numbers throughout. Right side of receiver is marked "R.FAMAGE/1952". Locking screws are missing. Cutdown walnut stock with cutout for aperture rear sight. CONDITION: stock shows a few circular dents, some dings & handling marks. Metal is mostly gray with scattered oxidation, handling marks & some light pitting. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Very good bore with scattered light pitting & frosting but strong rifling. (25-2568/MJC). BOTH MODERN. $300-500 for pair.
