LOT OF CIVIL WAR COVERS. Lot of 10 covers, most with portraits, some campaign-like in their tone. Covers include Banks, Butler, McClellan, Douglas (2 different), Ben Franklin ("A Northern Man with Union Principles"), E.E. Ellsworth (Fire Zouaves), Fremont (2 different), and Winfield Scott (2 different, 1 with matching stationery). On interesting lot, since all relate to Union issues, yet some of these individuals campaigned before the war (Scott & Fremont), and, of course, Franklin was long dead by the mid-19th century.
