Includes pre-fire notice that wooden row houses will not be insured (Chicago, Jan. 19th, 1866); a call for a meeting of iron and steel manufacturers at Pittsburgh, 1879; 2 imprints to potential advertisers for The Cincinnati Star; Christian missionary imprint to convince voters to approve the Massachusetts constitutional amendment to prohibit the manufacture and sale of liquor (1889); another imprint targeting women to get approval of the same state constitutional amendment; a receipt for clothing received by one Leonard R. Tooker (142 NYV, Co. K) at the U.S. General Hospital at Fortress Monroe, VA; and more. Usual folds, a few have minor damp stains and toning, but overall very good.
