WNCHESTER PRE-64 RIFLES. Lot consists of: (1.) Model 1886 rifle buttstock of nicely grained walnut with original crescent steel trapdoor buttplate. CONDITION: sound, age darkened worn appearance with numerous scratches, marks, and small dents. (2.) Model 1895 rifle stock with crescent steel buttplate. CONDITION: lightly sanded and refinished wood shows a few small marks. (3.) Model 64 Deluxe stock and walnut forearm with standard factory checkering. Steel buttplate, plastic grip cap, and inletted rear swivel base are not present. CONDITION: lightly worn original finish and checkering showing numerous scratches, dents, and marks. Left side of forearm has a hairline crack extending from the tip. (4.) Model 71 Deluxe checkered walnut forearm. CONDITION: near new, appears unused. (5.) Model 94 Post-64 walnut stock with plastic buttplate. CONDITION: near new showing small handling marks, appears unused. (6.) Semi-inletted walnut stock for a Post-64 Model 64 with reproduction plastic buttplate. CONDITION: stock is unfitted showing small chips at corners of bottom tang. (7.) Model 61 Pre-War stock. Checkered steel buttplate is not present. CONDITION: stock is heavily sanded with rounding at edges showing scratches and marks with a small filled dent on the left side. (8.) Model 61 Post-War stock with checkered plastic buttplate. CONDITION: stock has lightly worn finish with scattered scratches and marks. (9.) Model 61 Post-War stock with original checkered plastic buttplate. CONDITION: very good original finish showing a few small marks. (10.) Model 61 long style flat bottom grooved forearm. Eyelets for attachment screws are not present. CONDITION: very good original finish, may be unused. (11.) Model 61 long style flat bottom grooved forearm with screw eyelets. CONDITION: near excellent, likely unused. (12.) Model 61 short Pre-War grooved walnut forearm with screw eyelets. CONDITION: heavily sanded with age darkened appearance on left side. (13.) Model 1885 Winder Musket stock and full length grooved walnut forearm. Includes steel musket buttplate, rear sling swivel, bbl. band with sling swivel, and steel nose cap. CONDITION: sanded stock has dark open porous oil finish with large chips left of toe. Unsanded forearm has worn original finish showing scratches, marks, and small dents with a hairline crack on left side at action. (14.) Model 1905 self-loading trigger group assembly with stock. S# "9801". Buttplate is not present. CONDITION: metal parts have a general lightly rusted appearance showing scattered pitting. Stock has age darkened worn appearance with numerous scratches, marks, and small dents. (02-24462-3/DS). $600-1,200.
