Lot of 6 U.S. fighting knives, including: 1) Camillus Air Force Survival knife. Blade measures 5" with an overall length of 9 7/16". Left side of the ricasso is marked "CAMILLUS/ NY". Clip point blade with serrated spine. Rectangular cross guard with 2-holes at rear and octagonal pommel. Grooved brown leather washer handle. CONDITION: blade shows areas of wear fading to gray patina, with scattered scratches overall. Guard and pommel show wear and light surface oxidation. Leather washer handle shows light crazing. 2) KA-BAR USMC fighting knife. Blade measures 7" with an overall length of 12 1/4". Left side of the ricasso is marked "KA-BAR", with "USMC" marked on the right. Blade has been cleaned and is in-the-white. Replacement brass guard and pommel. Grooved brown leather washer handle. CONDITION: blade retains a mostly bright appearance, exhibiting some spots of light to mild pitting and age related discoloration, some scratches, as well as striations from prior cleaning. Brass guard and pommel have acquired a pleasing patina. Leather washer handle shows some wear, handling marks, and separation of the washers, but otherwise remains sound. 3) KA-BAR USN MK2 fighting knife. Blade measures 7" with an overall length of 11 15/16". Left side of ricasso is marked "KA-BAR", with "USN MK2" marked on the right. Blade exhibits a reapplied blue finish. Flat steel guard with rnd. pommel. Grooved brown leather washer handle. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: gray synthetic USN MK2 sheath with gray canvas belt loop. CONDITION: blade retains large amounts of its reapplied blue finish, showing light to mild pitting, scattered areas of light to mild surface oxidation, as well as sharpening marks. Guard and pommel show wear, with consistent mild surface oxidation. Handle shows general wear, with some crazing and scattered handling marks. Sheath shows scattered handling marks, with consistent surface oxidation on steel throat. Sheath body shows a crack along the lower edge, with some chipping in corresponding area. 4) Camillus KA-BAR fighting knife. Blade measures 7" with an overall length of 12". Left side of ricasso is marked "U.S./ CAMILLUS". Blued blade, with parkerized guard and black enamel finished rnd. pommel. Brown painted grooved leather washer handle. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: unmarked black leather sheath. CONDITION: blade retains large amounts of its blue finish, showing mild edge wear, light surface oxidation, as well as some areas of white paint. Pommel shows scattered areas of flaking. Handle shows scattered handling marks, but is otherwise very good overall. Sheath remains malleable, showing light general wear. 5) Colonial U.S.N. Mark I fighting knife. Blade measures 5 3/16" with an overall length of 9 7/8". Left side of ricasso is marked "U.S.N." with "MARK I/ COLONIAL" marked on the right. Blade exhibits a dull black finish. 1-piece molded grooved black synthetic handle with flared pommel. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: gray synthetic sheath with "U.S.N./ MK.1" marked steel throat and gray canvas belt loop. CONDITION: blade is good, retaining the majority of its matte black finish, showing a few scratches and spots of light thinning. Handle shows a few scattered handling marks, but is otherwise sound. Sheath shows spots of discoloration and some handling marks, but is otherwise sound. 6) Utica M3 fighting knife. Blade measures 6 5/8" with an overall length of 11 1/2". Right side of blade is marked "U.S. M3-UTICA". Pommel is stamped with a U.S. flaming ordnance bomb proof. Grooved brown leather washer handle. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: M6 brown leather sheath with protective steel reinforcement plates towards toe. Front of sheath body is marked "U.S. M8/ MILSCO/ 1943". CONDITION: metal components retain trace to fair amounts of their original parkerized finish, with the balance exhibiting wear through to a gray patina, showing scattered scratches and spots of light surface oxidation. Leather washer handle shows scattered handling marks and spots of crazing, but is otherwise sound. Sheath remains malleable, showing scattered handling marks with light to mild crazing overall.
