One of these malacca shaft canes is a crook-handled cane with vermeil band and cap with London hallmarks. Thecap is monogrammed "J.H.R. / 1911-1936." The gold maker's plate identifies "Howell / London / England," and theshaft is stamped "Caldwell & Co. / Philadelphia." The other 5 canes have knob handles, 3 are silver, 1 ivory and 1plastic. One of the silver-handled canes is formed to have a triangular cross-section.(EST 500-700)
