LOT OF 14 STEPPED PARTRIDGE WOOD CANES
Seven of these canes have crook handles formed by bending the partridge wood, and of these, 3 have silver bands onthe shaft, 5 have silver caps on the ends of the crooks. Two have both caps & bands and both have early20th-century British hallmarks. Two other canes have crook handles, 1 is horn with bone decorations, and the other iscarved horn. One cane has an ivory "L"- handle, and the silver band is stamped "A & L." The other 5 have silver knobhandles, 2 of which have floral designs. All of the knob handles are somewhat worn and/or battered.(EST 600-800)
