HUGE Lot of 55 early LOCUS Fanzines, #’s 155-254 (1974-1982), Most in Fine-VF+ Condition

This auction is for a 55 issue lot of early Locus fanzines, well before Locus became a slick, professional magazine sold on newsstands. Locus is one of the longest-running, and most respected science fiction news and review magazines in the industry and is now published digitally on the web. It is in essence the trade journal for the industry, and it all started right here. In the beginning, it was a mimeographed one-page news fanzine promoting the “Boston in ’71” Worldcon bid. Locus was founded in May 1968 in New York by Charles N. Brown (who later took over full editorship, including all of the issues in this auction)), Ed Meskys, and Dave Vanderwerf as a one-page news fanzine printed by mimeograph to promote the “Boston in ’71” Worldcon bid. This is your opportunity to obtain rare copies of this historical newszine.

Includes the following 55 issues. Condition ranges from VG-VF+, many with mailing folds and address labels, though I would grade the majority in Fine to VF (some are uncirculated/NM condition):
