Linda St. Clair's paintings capture the longing
we share for pastoral landscapes and wildlife, and
she lovingly graces ever the most common barnyard
animals with personality and dignity. Applying her
own unique brand of playful attention to color and
brushstroke, Linda's vibrant and bold signature dances
on the canvas, instantly defining her paintings as St.
Clair originals, which has justifiably assured her of a
wide following for her vitality and masterful vision.
St. Clair has won numerous honors and had many
national exhibitions of her oil paintings. She is the
recipient of two Grumbacher gold medals, participated
in shows, such as the Salmagundi Club Show, Birds in
Art at Leigh Yawkey Woodson Museum, Cowgirl Up at
the Desert Calleberas Museum in Wickenburg, AZ, and
the Western Visions Show at the National Museum of
Wildlife Art. St. Clair's paintings can be seen at Austin
Galleries, Austin TX; Trailside Galleries, Jackson, WY;
and Morris and Whiteside Gallery, Hilton Head Island,
SC. She is a member of the Society of Animal Artists
and has work in the permanent collections of the Leigh
Yawkey Woodson Museum.
