<B>LICHTENSTEIN'S HARTEBEEST SHOULDER MOUNT</B></I><BR> <I>Alcelaphus lichtensteini</B></I><BR>The Lichtenstein Hartebeest is one of the smaller-bodied hartebeest, with a very short and wide frontal pedicel, shoulders higher than the hindquarters, and horns that appear to have a crumpled letter S shape. They are found in Zambia, Mozambique, and southern Tanzania, and are gregarious animals, usually living in a herd of 5 to 10, with one dominant bull. This particular mount is a trophy record-class bull, with excellent-quality taxidermy.
