The 1999-2000 tour included the Clarion Historical Society, Westmoreland Museum, Stroudsburg Historical Society, American Philatelic Museum, MGM grant Hotel in Las Vegas, Fairmont State College, NASA Classroom of the Future, Philadelphia’s 2000 GOP Convention Political Fest and the dedication of Patrick Henry College. Each is magnificently presented in custom framing, a worthy addition to any Revolutionary War or Colonial collection.</i></b><BR><BR></span><b><span style='font-size:14.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:windowtext;text-transform: uppercase'>Signer Sells His Slave<BR><BR></span></b><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:windowtext'>(1726-1798). Revolutionary statesman and <b>Signer</b> of the Declaration of Independence active in procuring ammunition and stores and was given the task of inducing the Indians in the West to forsake their British allies and making common cause with the colonists. After signing the Declaration, his estate in NY was completely ransacked by British troops and his family driven off. DS, 1p, legal folio, Morrisania, West Chester County, NY, Feb 4, 1792. Paper seal present. Bill of sale by which Morris sells “for the consideration of the sum of Forty pounds” to George Hunter of New York City “one Negroe Wench called Sarah...” Boldly signed. Witnessed by his daughter </span><b><span style='font-size:9.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:windowtext; text-transform:uppercase'>Sally Morris</span></b><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:windowtext'> at conclusion. Some ink bleed of his first initial; o/w in excellent condition. Handsomely matted beside descriptive plaque and FDC honoring the Signers featuring his image and facsimile signature.
