LESNEY/MATCHBOX NO. 74 MOBILE CANTEEN DIECAST
Vintage Lesney/Matchbox No. 74 Mobile Canteen diecast, manufactured in England circa 1959–1966, approximately 60–67 years old. An early model from the original Matchbox Regular Wheels series, representing a towable roadside refreshment trailer. Features a silver-grey diecast body, blue metal baseplate, grey plastic wheels and an integrated towing hitch. The underside is marked “MOBILE CANTEEN,” “MADE IN ENGLAND BY LESNEY” and “74.” A collectible example of Lesney's early commercial and service-vehicle designs.
Condition: Grade 3/10 – Heavily Playworn Vintage Condition. Extensive paint loss and exposed metal across the silver-grey roof, rear panels and body edges, with numerous scratches and surface marks. The blue baseplate retains much of its original colour, showing minor scratches and wear. Both grey wheels and the towing hitch are present.
