LESNEY/MATCHBOX NO. 40 BEDFORD TIPPER TRUCK DIECAST
Vintage Lesney/Matchbox No. 40 Bedford Tipper Truck diecast, manufactured in England during the late 1950s to early 1960s, approximately 63–69 years old. A collectible early Matchbox 1–75 Series commercial vehicle featuring a red Bedford forward-control cab, mustard-yellow open tipping body, metal chassis and grey wheels. The truck has a distinctive rounded Bedford cab design, open cargo bed and six-wheel configuration. The underside displays the No. 40 marking and Bedford tipper identification. A classic example of Lesney's early British construction and commercial vehicle miniatures.
Condition: Grade 4/10 – Heavily Playworn Vintage Condition. Extensive paint chips, scratches and exposed metal across the red cab, roof, front fenders and yellow tipping body. Noticeable wear along the cargo-bed edges and chassis. All six wheels are present, with visible surface ageing. Unboxed.
