LLESNEY/MATCHBOX NO. 17 HORSE BOX DIECAST
Vintage Lesney/Matchbox No. 17 Horse Box diecast, manufactured in England during the 1960s, approximately 57–66 years old. An original Matchbox Regular Wheels series model representing a British horse-transport truck. Features a red diecast cab and chassis, dark green horse-box body and roof, dark cab windows, silver-coloured front grille and bumper, and black plastic wheels. The underside is marked “MATCHBOX SERIES,” “NO. 17,” “HORSE BOX” and “MADE IN ENGLAND BY LESNEY.” A collectible example of Lesney's classic British commercial-vehicle range.
Condition: Grade 5/10 – Average Vintage Used Condition. Visible paint chips and scratches to the red cab, particularly around the front corners and grille. The dark green horse-box body retains much of its original finish, with minor surface marks and edge wear. Additional wear is visible on the red underside and silver-coloured bumper.
