LESNEY/MATCHBOX MODELS OF YESTERYEAR VINTAGE STEAM TRACTION ENGINE DIECAST
Vintage Lesney/Matchbox Models of Yesteryear steam traction engine diecast, manufactured in England during the 1960s era. A collectible miniature agricultural steam engine featuring a dark green diecast boiler and body, red spoked front wheels, large red spoked rear wheels with grey outer treads, and a tall green smokestack. The model represents an early steam-powered traction engine used for agricultural and industrial work, with its exposed boiler, upright chimney, rear driving wheels and open operator's platform. A classic example of Lesney's historic machinery miniatures.
Condition: Grade 6/10 – Good Vintage Used Condition. Moderate paint chips, scratches and finish wear across the green body, red wheel spokes and chimney. Some age-related wear and discolouration to the grey wheel treads and metal fittings. The front and rear wheels, chimney and main engine components are present. Unboxed.
