Lot #34 (reproduced) <BR><BR><I>Taos Mother and Child</B></I> depicts a Taos Indian Pueblo mother holding her child in a Native American hide cradle with cradleboard. Gaspard's sketchbook became available in the 1950s, at which time the pages were separated.
