Lot of 4 (1898-1930). 1) "Character Sketches of Living Presidents and Apostles of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. With Portraits," Salt Lake City, The Deseret News, 1901, 7¼" x 5", 264pp. With 1915 owner's name and name on inside cover. Black hard covers with white lettering are worn, especially at spine; interior is intact and lightly toned. The leaders profiled include four presidents and twelve apostles. 2) "Seeking After Our Dead: Our Greatest Responsibilities" is a course of lessons for the study in classes in genealogy. 3) "Compiled by Dr. John A. Widtsoe Of the Council of the Twelve Apostles of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints," 7½" x 5", printed by Zion's printing and Publishing Company, Independence, Missouri, c. 1930. Paper covers have a couple of dark marks; interior has a few pencil marks, else fine. Containing positive comments made by prominent non-Mormons about the Mormons throughout ten decades, beginning in 1830. 4) A Life of Christ For the Young. By George Ludington Week, published by George W. Jacobs & Co., Philadelphia, 1898, 7¼" x 5", 339pp. Minor wear to covers; light toning to interior; tightly bound.
