Lyndon B. Johnson typed letter signed as a member of the U.S. Senate. Single page, 8” x 10.5” document typed on official U.S. Senate stationery. Dated 16 March 1954 and addressed to Thomas E. Conway, the letter discusses a bill that is about to go before the Senate. Johnson promises to keep in mind Conway's interests when going through the bill. Signed in faded black ink, “Sincerely, Lyndon B. Johnson.” Some mild foxing and wear to creases, otherwise excellent. Includes supporting letters related to same bill.
