<td width="100%">
This late 1800s to early 1900s blue and white stoneware pitcher is 8 1/4" tall, and has embossed apricots, chain medallion, fanciful body design of leaves and twigs with a roped handle, pattern carried onto spout. This being a utilitarian piece it was used. It has a chip on the spout and a hairline. It also has paint and glaze wear spots and age crazing.(See Pictures). It does not leak. See the pictures of the bottom. It is near to impossible to find a stoneware piece in really good condition because it was used daily and it is over 100 years old and has still survived with just a few reminders of the past. My price for this is very good even with its character.
