<td width="100%">
This is a fabulous Victorian bisque cigar and match holder from the late 1800s. The large opening which is a picket fence is the cigar holder. There are two holders for matches, probably one for spent matches. The striker is on the side and it is about 6" tall by 5" wide. The detail in this piece is wonderful. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. I bought this from a person I have been buying alot of pieces from in the last few months. All the items have been stored since the 1940s when his grandmother closed her antique shop in NJ and moved to Florida. It had never been unpacked or rewrapped until he brought it in in the original 1940s newspaper. Everything I have bought has been from the mid 1800s to early 1900s. Most of it mid to late 1800s. There is absolutely no doubt about this rare and wonderful piece.
