<B>LARGE DINOSAUR TOOTH</B></I><BR> <I>Albertasaurus libratus <BR>Cretaceous<BR>Two Medecine Formation, near Browning, Montana</B></I><BR>This large Tyrannosaurid tooth displays deep mahogany-colored enamel with good serrations. It measures 2¼ inches over the curve, and gives an idea of the fearsome sight this carnivorous theropod would have presented, with a mouth full of around 59 others equally sharp. It was a smaller creature than others of the Tyrannosauridae; the larger ones tended to have fewer teeth. The first remains of this species were found in Alberta, Canada, and named thereafter in 1905 by long-time president of the New York Zoological Society, Henry Fairfield Osborn.<BR><BR><b>Shipping:</b> Requires 3rd Party Shipping (<a target="_blank" href="http://www.heritageauctions.com/common/shipping.php">view shipping information</a>)
