PLEASE look at the detailed, beautiful printed scene on the shade of this lamp! It appears to be hand tinted as well.

This OLD lamp was made from a beautiful antique brass welding/blow torch (or is it an oil can? You can judge). What is truly special about it, however, is the old shade, which portrays an elegant, detailed hunting scene with carriages, ladies & gents in Empire style clothing, trees, horses, running hounds, and more. I don't know how this scene was applied--my best guess is it was printed/lithographed on each panel, then hand tinted (red and white have been applied). It has a wonderful yellowish-brownish patina, and is 6 sided. The joiners of the panels were covered with a gold paper; some of this is missing. There are also gold paper strips applied decoratively at the bottom and the top of the shade. The light fitting on the shade is brass; it clips around a bulb. The brass oil can part is a rich dark hue. The base is made of cast iron and has "E11" and two other letters or numbers I can't make out. It has the old cloth bound GE cord (outer cloth is worn in places, inner cloth is not) with the original cardboard piece around the brass prongs that says 15 cents. I have seen new lamps made of old blow torches, but this is NOT new. I purchased it from an elderly woman who said it was in her parents home when she was young.
