<td width="100%">
Known as RECLINING LADY WITH HARP this lovely matched pair of Art Deco blue frosted or satin glass boudoir lamps, with blue flashed torchierre shades, date back to the 1920s - 1930s. The bases feature a beautiful Flapper playing her harp and the tall torchierre shades feature a herringbone pattern. They each measure 11 1/2 inches tall to the top of the shades and about 6 inches tall to top of ladies hand. Shown and described on pages 172-173 of Whitmyer - Bedroom & Bathroom Glassware of the Depression Years. The fittings are original - the wiring replaced, and the condition of both figural bases and shades, with the exception of a small nick on the back of one base, a little roughness on the edges of the shades where they are inserted in the base, and minimal wear to the blue flashed color, due to age is excellent. Rare to find a matched pair especially in such good condition
