Pomeroy in barrel percussion conversion rifle, .69 cal., 31” barrel dated 1840 with 1842 dated lockplate, full wood stock, steel ramrod, old leather sling (front sling swivel missing), steel butt plate in overall good to very good conditionas converted showing a grey patina with scattered spots of erosion, rear sight missing, crisp action, good markings including J.H. inspection and P proof on left side of barrel at breech; very good wood stock with two partial inspectorcartouches on left side of stock above trigger.
